“A Place to Fall Down” Officially Qualifies for the Oscars Race

We’re beyond thrilled to share that our short film, “A Place to Fall Down,” has officially qualified for the 2025 Academy Awards race. It still feels completely surreal to say that out loud — but here we are!

Over the next few months, we’ll be diving headfirst into an exciting (and intense) stretch of press, screenings, and interviews leading up to the shortlist announcement in early December. It’s the kind of whirlwind every filmmaker dreams of, and you can be sure we’re savoring every exhausting minute.

This milestone belongs entirely to our incredible cast and crew. Their dedication, artistry, and belief in the process made “A Place to Fall Down” what it is — a film built from heart, grit, and collaboration. Every frame, every sound, every detail, is a reflection of their talent and care.

We can’t wait to share more as this journey unfolds. For now, we’re celebrating this moment — and the people who made it possible.

To infinity and beyond!

VOKSEE Director's Cap
$35.00

There’s just something about a good hat. The way it finishes a look without trying too hard; the way it says you’ve been somewhere, even if you’re only heading out for coffee. We spent months testing, touching, and tossing out dozens of hats until we found the one… a perfectly worn-in, dad-cap silhouette that feels like it’s been yours forever. The Director’s Cap is the kind of comfort that doesn’t just fit your head, it fits your life.

VOKSEE is embroidered along the front in Duane Hansen Fernandez’s own unique handwriting. It’s not a font. It’s not a logo sitting somewhere in a design file. It’s a mark of intention — imperfect, human, alive. A small reminder that every great idea starts with a pen, a sketch, a spark.

This cap pays quiet homage to Ron Howard, the eternal symbol of creative calm under pressure. It’s a nod to the storytellers, the doers, the ones who lead from behind the lens.

Whether you’re on set, in the studio, or just chasing the next great idea, the VOKSEE Director’s Cap is there with you. Simple, soft, and full of stories waiting to happen.
