Behind the Scenes: YWCA Women of the Year PInnacle Awards

This was our second year producing the interview series for the YWCA’s Women of the Year Pinnacle Awards, and every time we partner with our incredible friends at the YWCA we create something meaningful about people who are impacting their communities beyond measure.

Produced and directed by Rebecca Parks Fernandez, the entire VOKSEE team worked to create a warm, inviting space for each interview — a setting that reflected the strength and authenticity of every honoree. During these conversations, we heard stories of resilience, leadership, and purpose. Each interview left us more and more inspired.

Partnering with the YWCA on this celebration of strength and activism has been an honor. After two unforgettable years helping bring these stories to life, we’re proud to pass the baton to a rising filmmaker, Brea Mullen, who will carry the vision forward with her own creative lens.
