Rebecca, first a big thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and insights with us today. I’m sure many of our readers will benefit from your wisdom, and one of the areas where we think your insight might be most helpful is related to imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is holding so many people back from reaching their true and highest potential and so we’d love to hear about your journey and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

Imposter syndrome is such a funny thing. If we all have it, why haven’t we figured out how to solve it?? For me, the most effective way to overcome imposter syndrome is by repetition. The more you do “the thing” the less scary it becomes. The bonus to this method is no one can say you don’t have those capabilities if you’ve shown you can do it time and time again!

I also try to be the most prepared person in the room, and always remain open to feedback and learning opportunities. People love sharing their knowledge and experiences. All you have to do is ask, and take great notes.
